BodyGuardz – Product Manager/Director of Product Development – Lehi, UT – 2018 to Present
BodyGuardz provides protection for a life worth living wherever that may take you; be it on the road or at home in work mode or play mode. With a 17-year history BodyGuardz built its’ brand around screen protection by being the first to market with glass screen protectors for the iPhone and has since expanded into phone cases. The latest evolution for the brand into smart home products has taken the same approach of providing innovative solutions in expanding markets to address consumer’s needs.
Cases
Developed new case concepts from scratch while working with our external/internal design teams, Chinese factories and internal cross-functional teams including product development, marketing and operations to launch new cases with innovative materials and processes resulting in increased retail placement, press accolades and increased sell through.

Manage the product development pipeline from inception to launch including industrial design, project timeline, procurement, price negotiation, logistics, package design, DFM, QA & QC
Work with a cross-functional team, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, production partners and executives to develop new products to meet market needs and quality standards
Managed relationships with our Manufacturing partners in Shenzhen and firmware developers in Shanghai
Lead RFP and contract negotiation process for contract software development team based in India
Managed the software and firmware development process including development teams in Shanghai and Bangalore and our local internal IT team
Built and executed a hiring plan for our internal development team consisting of PMs, iOS, Android, Web Apps and DevOps

Brydge Keyboards – Product Manager – Park City, UT – 2017 to 2018
Brydge makes stunning keyboards and accessories for tablets. The brand is focused on delighting modern tech connoisseurs by providing users with the perfect complement to their device. Product and company recognitions include three consecutive CES innovation awards (2016, 2017, and 2018), a red dot design award (2016), a Good Design Award (2019) and three consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list (2016-2018).
Managed the product development pipeline from inception to launch including industrial design, project timeline, procurement, price negotiation, logistics, package design, DFM, QA & QC
Worked with a cross-functional team, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, production partners and executive team to develop new products to meet market needs and quality standards
Lead projects to expand mobile accessory range, including tablet cases, battery packs, cables and screen protectors resulting in strong revenue growth and a 65% attach rate after the Q4 2017 product launch
Helped Brydge launch their “Made for Google” program starting with the Brydge G-Type for Google Pixel Slate
Oversaw the expedited development of the Brydge 10.5 following Apple’s launch of the iPad Pro 10.5-inch; by being among the first to market with a Bluetooth keyboard designed for the device lead Brydge to 80% YOY revenue growth for 2017
Managed relationships with engineering and manufacturing partners in Taiwan and China, including frequent travel to Asia to review development and production
Designed and engineered new products such as iPad cases, keyboards and other Brydge products (10.5” and 12.9” iPad Pro shells, 10.5” iPad Pro keyboard, batteries and cables)
Designed and completed initial engineering for the line of 2018-19 iPad Pro keyboards that went on to receive a Good Design Award for Electronics in 2019
Built packaging for new products such as keyboards, tablet cases, batteries, cables and screen protectors, including graphic design, die lines and product renders
Evaluated new products based on brand values, business strategy, competitive analysis, sales forecasts and consumer feedback
Assisted in managing product logistics, including warehouse operations, factory shipments and end customer fulfilment with Brydge staff and 3PL partners for international product rollouts
U.S. Ski & Snowboard – Manager of Mobile Systems (Project Manager) – Park City, UT – 2015 to 2017
U.S. Ski & Snowboard is the NGB of U.S. snow sports with the mission to lead, encourage, and support athletes in achieving excellence by empowering national teams, clubs, coaches, parents, officials, volunteers and fans.
Restructured the IT project pipeline and development process to evaluate interdisciplinary projects producing more strategic, timely and financially responsible results
Managed redesign and modernization of company websites (USSA & NASTAR) to include responsive design, service-oriented architecture, and cloud hosting with an interdisciplinary team to support 1.2M page views in the first 90 days with an average page load time under 2.0 seconds
Restructured the website information architecture for consistency across all sports for improved usability
Lead continuous improvement projects for software maintained by internal and external developers
Facilitated the evaluation, development and continuous improvement of internal CRM tools including platform selection, architectural design and implementation with outside vendors and internal staff
Oversaw the migration from Microsoft Dynamics CRM to Blackbaud Luminate CRM on Salesforce
Developed cross platform mobile apps, websites and timing systems for desktop and mobile
Lead the evaluation, planning and implementation of Brightcove video platform with sales, marketing and IT teams resulting in 272,000 impressions and 150,000 minutes of video viewing in the first season
